Eastern Kentucky University maintains this dashboard to inform the campus and community about the number of COVID-19 cases among students and employees. Model Laboratory School will be counted separately due to the nature of operating as a K-12 school district.
Cases reported to EKU by the Madison County Health Department and confirmed as members of the EKU community are included on this page. Members of the campus community who receive a positive test result from any testing agency should report it on the COVID-19 Self-Monitoring Form. Cases self-reported to EKU will also be included in the counts on this page. If positive results are not provided to EKU by the local health department or self reported by the affected student/employee, the University will not be able to apply that information on the dashboard.
Confidentiality laws prohibit the University from disclosing identifying information about affected individuals. Any individual who has tested positive will be quarantined. Anyone believed to be at risk, as determined by official contact tracers, will be contacted and requested to self-quarantine. For more information about EKU's response to COVID-19, please visit the Stay well website. The Colonels Comeback Plan is also available to provide valuable information about the University's approach to on-campus instruction and operations.
